Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Crestwood Chapel for Helen Louise Self, 83, of Hokes Bluff, who died Saturday, March 16, 2013. The Revs. Anthony Copeland and Tim Saccucci will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.
Mrs. Self was a longtime member of Glencoe First United Methodist Church. She retired from the Holy Name of Jesus and Riverview Hospital with more than 47 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Self; brother, Newton Mooney; sisters, Arlene Fuller and Rosa Mae Bishop; parents, Charles and Gertrude Mooney.
She is survived by her sister, Betty Bishop; numerous nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Mildred (Ira) Collins.
Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to Glencoe First United Methodist Church.
