Mrs. Helen Moon, 88, of Gadsden, passed away June 1, 2023.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 and a half years, Allen Moon; her son, Paul Moon; daughter-in-law, Judy Moon; parents: James and Era Moore; and brothers: Robert and Walter Moore.
She was an avid traveler and an outstanding mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who was active in all of her kids' lives as long as she could.
She is survived by her son, Larry (Connie) Moon; granddaughter: Sandy (Michael) Little; grandsons: Michael (Amber) Moon, Ryan (Amber) Moon, and step grandchild Victoria Curtis; great-grandchildren: Darren Davis, Colton, James, Keinu, and Mikey Little, Ayden Paul Moon, Leon Moon, and  Bryan Hampton; sister: Gloria Davis; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Funeral services will be Sunday, June 4, 2023, at 2:00pm at Crestwood Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery in Boaz. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00pm.
