Funeral services will Wednesday 6/6/2018 at Crestwood Chapel for Mrs. Hazel Dowdy Lyons ,age 89, of Glencoe, who died Monday. Reverend Bruce Gilliland will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home announcing.

She was a graduate of Glencoe High School. She worked at Regions Bank for several years before retiring in 1992.

Hazel married Bert Dowdy in 1944, and after his death in 1985, she married Jan Lyons in 1987. The late Jan Lyons passed away June 2017.

She is preceded in death by her parents Lowell and Agnes Crowe, brother , Jerry Crowe, sister Kathleen Pinkston and daughter Glenda White.

She is survived by granddaughter Denise(Donnie) Adcock, great granddaughter Amber(Hunter) Amberson, great grandson Trey Adcock, stepdaughters Christi Lyons, Janet Hampton and Debra(Paul) Mitchell and several nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Alacare Hospice.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 9am until the time of service.
