Harvey Neal Shirley, of Gadsden, Alabama passed away on November 11, 2021 at the age of 91.  He was born on November 2, 1930. Neal was the founder of Nealco Products Inc. He is survived by his children, Joel "Bo" Shirley (Lindsey), Zachary Shirley (Erica), Gabriel Shirley, their mother Zandra Gazaway Shirley, and daughter Gina Pineiro. Grandchildren Brennen and Reese, Phoenix, Raice, and Isabella. Chosen daughter, Jennifer Morris. Sisters; Dorothy, Patricia, Brenda, and Jimmie. He is preceded in death by his son Bruce Shirley; parents Charles Ross Shirley and Nellie Bell Shirley, brothers, Fred, Joe B, Clyde, Charles, Carey, Lloyd, and Billy.  Neal was one of 12 children;  Neal leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews. Neal attended The University of Alabama, Veteran of the United States Air Force, He was Alabama JCI Senator, president of the Gadsden Quarterback Club, and previously served as an Etowah County Sheriffs Reserve Deputy as well as belonging to many civic organizations. Neal was an avid supporter of all forms of racing. Neal had a giving heart, helped many, loved to laugh, and always had a good time. He loved his boys, family, and friends. He will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be at Crestwood Cemetery 12:00 Nov, 17, 2021 with graveside following at 2:00. Rev Larry Ballard will officiate.
