Harold Igou, age 87, passed away at his home on Tuesday night, September 13, 2022.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Hosmer and Ruth Igou; his brother in law Bob Burke; and father and mother in law N.H. and Willo Dean Traffanstedt.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dean; daughter Cindy (Rick) Ittner; son Jeff (Veronica and children William and Sissi) Igou; granddaughter Mackenzie (Nathaniel) Adams; step grandchildren Kyle Ittner and Blair (Ricky) Meyer; step great grandchildren Jase and Copelyn Meyer; sister Linda Burke; nieces Connie Burke and Tammy (Mike) Dupree; great niece Livy (Tyler) Griffit; sister in law Sue brady and her family; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mr. Igou was a veteran of the Army and also served in the Army Reserves. He was employed with Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for 37 years, having retired in 1996. He was a huge Alabama fan and enjoyed attending games with friends. He was a member of Twelfth Street Baptist Church for 57 years, where he served in numerous positions.

Dr. Richard Trader and Dr. Craig Carlisle will officiate. Due to current circumstances, there will be no public visitation with the family. There will be a time of viewing for the public from 12 until 1:30 pm; followed by the service at 2pm on Saturday, September the 17 at Crestwood Funeral Home. There will be no Graveside committal service.

Honorary pallbearers are all family and friends.
