IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Harold William
Bryant
July 15, 1948 – November 2, 2024
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Harold William Bryant, a cherished son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend. Harold was born in Etowah County, Alabama, and spent a number of years in Los Angeles County, California, with his sister, Martha Kate, before returning to Alabama, where he lived out the remainder of his life.
Harold had a passion for family and friends, but his greatest joy came from riding his motorcycle. He frequently journeyed across the desert, embracing the freedom of the open road, whether rain or shine, until health issues eventually kept him from his travels.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Lee and Pauline Bryant; brothers, Charles Bryant, Randell Gene Bryant, Billy Bryant, Larry Bryant, Anthony "Moe" Bryant, and James Johnson; sisters, Virginia Bryant, Martha Kate Williams, Nellie Faye Bryant, and Glinda Sue Hendrix; his long time partner Rhonda Ellis.
He is survived by his sons, Harold William Bryant Jr. and Charles Thomas Bryant, both residing in California, along with nine beloved grandchildren. Also survived by brother, Frankie (Sue) Bryant; sisters, Shirley (Jerry) Walden, Jackie (John) O'Bryant, Cathy (Eddie) Dumas, and Darlene (Ricky) Reed; and his chosen sister, Tammy (Greg) Amos. Harold leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and even a great-great-niece and nephew, all of whom will carry forward his legacy of love and laughter.
The family will receive friends at 1:00 PM on Thursday at Crestwood Funeral Home, followed by a service to honor Harold's life at 2:00 PM in the funeral home's chapel. Interment will follow at Pineview First Congressional Methodist Church and Cemetery.
Pallbearers will include Ricky Reed, Philip Flimming, Bucky Gowen, Rebel, David Brown, Lonnie "The Indian", honorary pallbearer, Rudy Reed, Roger, and all of his nephews.
Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home is honored to serve the Bryant family.
