Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Chapman's Chapel C.H. Church, Glencoe, for the Rev. Grady L. Watts Sr., one faithful soldier of God who went to his Heavenly home on Saturday, July 21, 2012. The Revs. John Cole, Glen Gables, Gary Watts and Kenny Wilkins will officiate. Burial will be in Chapman's Chapel Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge. The Rev. Watts was a devoted member of Chapman's Chapel C.H. Church. He loved inviting people to church and witnessing about the Lord. He also loved fishing, working on lawn mowers and gardening. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Hanson Watts; parents, Croel and Ludie Watts; brother, Robert Watts; and sister, Gloria Lee. He is survived by his son, Lee (Donna) Watts; daughters, Gail (Glen) Gables and Deborah (Jackie) McCormick; brothers, Harold (Judy) Watts and Joe Watts; sisters, Mary Collins and Rose Douthit; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Freddie Crowder, Tim Reynolds, Duston Wells and Roy Wagnon. Visitation will be today until the hour of service at the church. Earth's loss is Heaven's gain.
