Gloria was born on December 27th, 1940 in Barnesville, GA. She was an active and dedicated member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church and has called Gadsden home for over 50 years. We will remember her as a kind, gentle and patient mother who encouraged us to pursue our goals and to always keep family first in our hearts. She always had more time for her family than she did for herself, which we appreciated, and will be extremely missed. We have lost her smile only for a while but have gained an angel to watch over us always. We love you Mom, you were the best we could have ever asked for.
The family would also like to thank the Mayo Clinic staff, doctors, and Dr. Carpenter for all their efforts, dedication and hard work to make Mom's final days as comfortable as possible.
