Funeral Mass will be at 1pm on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at St. James Catholic Church for Gloria Josephine Bodine, age 93, of Rainbow City. Visitation will be at the church from 12:30pm until the hour of service. Father Thomas Kelly will officiate. Burial will at Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Memorial Funeral will direct services.

Mrs. Bodine was a native of Syracuse, New York and a veteran having served in the US Air Force. While in service she was transferred to Italy, where she met her husband Horace "Dick" Bodine. They married and traveled the world with the Air Force  before retiring to Rainbow City. Mrs. Bodine was a faithful member of St. James Catholic Church and a lifetime member of the VFW.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Horace Olen "Dick" Bodine.

She is survived by her nieces Nina (John) Puopolo, of Syracuse ,NY and Flora Tassone, of Brewerton, NY; several great nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends, especially Jerry and Liz Howell.

The Knights of Columbus will serve as pallbearers.
