Glenda Kay Reeves, a life long resident of Etowah County, passed away on Tuesday 11/18/2025 at 6:20 am with her close family by her side. Glenda was born 5/5/45 to her mother Mary Thacker Kell and her father Rufus Arnold Thacker. She was a graduate of Glencoe High school, class of 1963. She married Joseph Grady Chapman and had one daughter Shannan Joe. She later married Roger Larry Reeves and had a son Roger Derek as well as two stepdaughters Janna Conquest and Sherry Reeves. She is survived by her Brother Arnold Clay Thacker, his wife Kathy and children and grandchildren as well as her sister Janet Elaine Reed, husband Dale and children and grandchildren. She is also leaving behind her daughter Shannan Wilkinson, husband Mark Wilkinson and son Derek Reeves as well as 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Glenda is well loved and will be greatly missed. The family wishes to thank Silver Lakes Memory Care and all who helped with her care. The Viewing will be held at 11 am on Friday 11/21/2025 at Crestwood Funeral Home in Gadsden followed by the service at 1pm.
