Funeral services for Mrs. Glenda Hood Sewell age 73, of Heflin formerly Gadsden, who died Sunday will be 1 pm Saturday at Crestwood Chapel .Pastor Mark Howington will officiate . Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge of services.
Mrs. Sewell was a graduate of Gadsden High School.
She is preceded in death by parents O.A. and Stella Hood, brother Wayne Hood and sister JoAnn Burgess.
She is survived by her husband Jimmy Sewell ,Son Micky (Angela),daughter Melissa(Mike) Cosby, 5 grandchildren Corey Sewell, Jacob Sewell, Alexandra Sewell, Adam Lane, and Ben Cosby,3 great grandchildren- Talon Sewell, Calvin Hunter Sewell and Karter Payne, sister Marilyn Patton and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Cory Barrett, David Patton, Darin Patton, Kenan Smith, Adam Lane, Ben Cosby and Jacob Sewell.
She also leaves behind special friends Linda, Nancy, Lou, Jane, Marsha and Diane.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 11 am until the time of service.
