Funeral services will be 2 pm, Monday, May 16, 2022 at Crestwood Chapel, for Mrs. Gladys Taylor, age 97, who died Wednesday, May 11, 2022. Reverend Ronnie Moore will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Taylor will be remembered first as a Christian, being resilient in all she did. She enjoyed cards and games especially Rook. She made sure her family and herself were always dressed to a tee. She was a retired retail sale clerk. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all and will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by husband Gerkin E. Taylor, parents , Houston and Viola Miller, 8 siblings, sons in law Tommy Mayes and Durvyn Howard.

She is survived by children Myra Howard, Jan Mayes, Joan(Bobby) Rhodes, Snooky (Sherry) Taylor,7 grandchildren,  8 great grandchildren and 3 great- great  grandchildren and a large extended family.

Pallbearers will be Eric Howard, Blake Shew, Austin Evans, Hayes Evans, Garrett Cranmer, Caleb Shew and Beckham Hammontree.

Honorary pallbearers are Barbara Cornelius, Johnny Vinyard, Boots Vinyard and Jerry King.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to West Point Baptist Church of Jacksonville Al.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from1 pm until the time of service.
