Funeral will be at 11 am Friday May 15, at Crestwood Chapel for Mrs. Gladys Ruth Lipscomb age 92 of Gadsden who died Wednesday. Reverends J.P. Lipscomb and Tony McGowan will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Lipscomb was a charter member of Oak Park Baptist Church and was proud to be a born again Irish Christian and a prayer warrior for Christ.
She loved the Lord dearly and was a loving wife, mother, mother in-law, grandmother and friend to all and will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by Husband Reverend Howard Lipscomb son and his wife Bill and Linda Sue Lipscomb and daughter in-law Linda Ann Lipscomb.

She is survived by son J. P. (Frances) Lipscomb, daughter Betty(Rev. Tony) McGowan, Wayne(Wanda) Lipscomb, 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the mission group of your choice.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.

Honorary pallbearer is Dr. Courtney Lowe.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 10 am until the time of service.
