Graveside services will be 11 am Monday, April 4, 2022 for Mrs. Geraldine Wetzel Duke, age 96, of Gadsden. Reverend Kenneth Casey will officiate. Our precious Nana went to be with her Lord and savior surrounded by family, on Friday April 1, 2022, at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Duke was preceded in death by her husband L.R. Duke, parents William and Nora Wetzel, brothers Edwin, Gerald, and Avery Wetzel, sister Mary Hill and grandson Jody Randall Berry.

She is survived by daughter Beverly(Randy) Berry, sons Rickey(Donna) Duke, Randy Duke, Barry Duke (Lisa Entrekin), brother Pat(Helen) Wetzel, Sister Sarah Savage, grandchildren Chris(April) Berry, Heather(Nate) Clough, Amy(Kyle) Richey, Jason(Brandie) Duke, Justin (Danielle) Duke, Joey(Tiffany) Snyder, Ethan Holmes, Garrett Rumore, numerous great grandchildren and chosen grandchildren from Big Oak Boys Ranch, and a host of beloved Nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Special thanks to Dr. Steve Sanders and staff, Gadsden Regional 7 ^th floor nurses, and Encompass Hospice.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Big Oak Ranch.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 10 am until the time of service.
