Gerald Watkins, age 87, passed away on January 8th, 2025. Funeral services will be held on January 17th, 2025, at 1 p.m. Visitation will be from 12-1 p.m. prior to the service. Donnie Yarbrough will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood cemetery.
Gerald will be remembered as a U.S. Navy chief retiree, then worked for United Postal Service, and was a Florida game warden. He loved fishing, golfing, and had that military in him, so he was good at giving orders. He loved God and his country. He was a loving family man and great friend and will be dearly missed.
Preceded in death by his wife Susan Watkins, parents Ernest and Eloise Watkins.
