Graveside Services will be at 2pm Saturday, February 18, at Crestwood Cemetery for Gerald Taylor, age 89, of Gadsden. He entered into rest on Monday, February 13. Burial will take place at Crestwood Cemetery.

Gerald will be remembered as a devoted Christian and he loved the Lord. He retired from LTV Steel where he worked as an electrician. He enjoyed yard work, traveling with his wife Margaret, and was a huge Alabama Football fan. He loved his family, was loved by them, and

will be missed dearly.

Gerald is preceded in death by his parents: Vernon and Sarah Taylor, Siblings: George, Joyce, Howard, Mary, Margaret, and Gene, and Grandson Matthew Taylor.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Margaret, Children: Susan (Bruce) Bailey, Carol (David) Surtees, Steve (Laneeca ) Taylor, and grandchildren: Brooke, Ashley, Taylor, Trent, Logan, and Wyatt, as well as 8 great grandchildren soon to be 9.

Visitation will be on Saturday from 1 pm until time of service.
