A family memorial will be held Friday, 12 pm, at Crestwood Funeral Home for Mr. Gerald Pentecost Sr., age 74, of Southside, who died Monday March 7, 2022. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery . Crestwood Funeral Home announcing.

Mr. Pentecost will be remembered as a church pastor, who studied his bible daily preparing his lessons for the upcoming week. He served as principal at two different Christian schools, was a geography major, enjoyed television especially westerns, traveling and time with family. He was loved and will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents Woodrow and Doris Pentecost.

He is survived by his wife of 53years Karen, children Gerald (Kim) Pentecost Jr., Jennifer(James) Whitley, Tommy(Carrie) Pentecost, grandchildren Alex, Audrey, Autumn, Ashley and Eleora.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 12-1 pm.
