Funeral services will be at 1pm on Thursday, February 16 at Crestwood Funeral Home for Gary
Hathern Greene, age 71. Bill Drummons will officiate and burial will take place at Pilgrims Rest
Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm
Gary was a loving husband, brother, uncle, and grandfather. He enjoyed collecting coins,
working in his garden, and cheering on the Alabama football team.
Gary was preceded in death by his loving wife Martha, Mother Elizabeth Ann Greene, Father
Hathern Greene, Sisters Sherry (Michael) Dutton and Donna Smith.
He is survived by his Daughter Alisha (Chad) Owens, sister Jennifer (Brook) Finlayson,
Step-sons Jim (Amber) Harris and Jason Handy, Granddaughters Audrey and Abbie, aunt Nita
Myrick, and several nieces and Nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society.
Pallbearers will be: West Finlayson, Chad Owens, Jesse Collier, Cory Nickels, Brook Finlayson,
and Jim Harris.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Glenn Cornelius, Gene Mitchell, Don Hinds, and Jimmy Abernathy.
