Funeral service will be at 3pm Sunday at Crestwood Chapel for Froncine Wallace, age 62, of Gadsden who passed away March 13, 2015. Chris Reeballs and Jeremy Beck will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral home will direct services.

Froncine was a graduate of Gadsden High School and Jacksonville State University, having earned her BA in Sociology. She had worked for the Alabama Department of Pensions and Securities in child care and adoptions before having seven children, to whom she was devoted and by whom she was beloved.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother Lula Alford; parents Thomas and Tena Alford; and her daughter Emma Catherine Wallace.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Tony Wallace; her children Amanda Wallace, Alex (Danette) Wallace, Laura (Ben Akins) Wallace, Michael Wallace, Spencer Wallace, and Chloe Wallace; grandchildren Caleb and Ryzen Duckworth; brothers and sisters Melanie Knappenberger, Cheyenne, WY, Judy (Jim) Brooks, Hokes Bluff, Cecelia (Rob) Belvin, Wimbley, TX, Tommy Alford, Cheyenne , WY, and Paul (Jean) Alford, Decatur, AL; Many Nieces and Nephews; and Chosen Grandchildren John and Will Hughes.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital; P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 42, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.

Honorary pallbearers are Andrew Spencer, Brett Collins, Cole Cummans, Maxwell Hicks, Sam Abel, Timothy Hicks, Troy Painter, and Corey Cahill.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 1 to 3pm at the funeral home.
