Funeral services will be 2 pm Monday, at Crestwood Chapel, for Mrs. Freda W. Wintermyer, age 65, of Gadsden, who passed away peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus, Thursday, January 3, 2019. Reverend Vince Whittington will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home directing.

Freda was a faithful member of James Memorial Baptist Church for 14 years and served as a Sunday School Teacher and sang in the choir.

Freda was born to Thelma Warren and the late Limmie Warren and is also preceded in death by brothers, Troy and Clenon Warren.

She is survived by her loving husband Terry Wintermyer; children Wesley Wintermyer, Jason(Katrina) Wintermyer, grandson Ben Wintermyer, loving mom Thelma Warren and a host of nieces and great nephews.

Pallbearers will be Donnie Hunter, Bob Lowery, Gene Johnson, Pat Sherrial, Rickey Frazier and Rickey Wintermyer.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the nurses, doctors and staff of Comfort Care Hospice and caregivers.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 1 pm until the time of service.
