Mrs. Frances Luckie Woolf, born January 7, 1923, passed away February 7, 2018, in Gadsden, Alabama. She was a long-time resident of Gadsden and a retired Sears employee.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Robert Atkins and Beatrice Traweek Atkins, her parents William Vernon Luckie and Beatrice Atkins Luckie, her husband Herbert L. Woolf, Jr., a son Larry Shoemaker, sisters Beatrice Woolf, Annette Ross, and Rebecca Nolen, niece Cynthia Luckie, nephews Robert Woolf and Cliff Nolen, and granddaughter-in-law Kimberly Shoemaker.
She is survived by her brother Bill Luckie, her son Ron Shoemaker, daughter-in-law Betty Shoemaker, grand-daughter Ginger Minton (Tim), grandsons Jay Shoemaker (Wendi) and Traweek Shoemaker, great-grandsons Zachary and Tyler Shoemaker, and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Woolf exemplified conscientiousness and family values for all her friends and relatives, and she will be much missed. Guests will be welcomed on Saturday, February 10, from 2 to 4 pm at Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home, Gadsden.
