Visitation will be at Crestwood Funeral Home on Monday October 15, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. for Frances Evelyn Cribbs, age 89, of Gadsden Al. who passed away on October 12, 2018. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.

Mrs. Cribbs was a native of Greenville, South Carolina and was a member of College Heights Baptist Church. She was known for her sweet personality and simple demeanor that won the hearts of many. She was an avid Alabama football fan who looked forward to watching each game. Mrs. Cribbs was married to her husband, Doyle(JD) Cribbs until his death in 1991.

She is  survived by her daughter Sandra Coley, her son Larry(Tammi) Cribbs, very special son-in-law Benny Coley, grandchildren Phillip Coley, Micah Coley, Austin Whitaker, and great grandchilden Emma Coley, Lilly Coley, and JJ Coley.

The family is deeply thankful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support in many heartfelt forms from too many people to name individually but including: Gadsden Amedysis Hospice Team and family and friends- either through prayer and/visits. A special thank you to Kim/Monica and all the caregivers and staff at Mt. Cove Assisted Living. Also a very special thank you to the loving and caring sitter Tootsie and her amazing team.
