Funeral services will be at 2pm Friday at Crestwood Chapel for Forrest "Ronnie" Smedley, age 77, of Rainbow City, Alabama, who entered into rest on Tuesday, December 6,2022. Tony Holcomb will officiate and burial will take place at Crestwood Cemetery.

Ronnie will be remembered as a dedicated Christian. He was a Goodyear retiree, loved camping with family and visiting Gatlinburg where his favorite pastime was people watching.

Ronnie is a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend and he will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his Daughter Brandi Nichole, Parents Forrest and Dean, and sister Sandy.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Barbara, son Patrick (Darlene) Smedley; grandchildren Blake and Cole Smedley, and Karianne (John) Burns; great grandchild Nola Jae Burns; and sister Robbie Dean Grogan.

Family will receive friends Friday from 1pm until the time of service.
