Funeral services will be at 3 PM Thursday, January 15, 2009 at Crestwood Memorial Chapel for Mrs. Flora L. Vann, age 94, of Glencoe, who died on Tuesday, January 13, 2009. Rev. Phillip Elliott and Rev. Vince Whittington will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct.
Mrs. Vann was a member of Glencoe First Baptist Church and she was a volunteer at the Glencoe Senior Citizen Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Felton Vann
She is survived by her son: Dayton (Rebecca Sue) Vann, Glencoe; grandchild: Adam (Pamella) Vann, Vincent; a host of nieces and nephews; special friend: Jann Yates.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Special thanks to 7th floor nurses and staff at Gadsden Regional Medical Center, Dr. Jaiswal, Dr. Sanders, Dr. Walker and her sitter: Charlotte Potts.
Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.
