Flora Feltman Alvis, 95, of Glencoe died Saturday March 25, 2017. Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at FBC Glencoe. Rev. Larry Fuhrman and Rev. Anthony Gomez will officiate. Burial is at Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.

She will be greatly missed by all and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Her employment skills were in food service. Flora was a faithful and active member of FBC Glencoe for over 60 years. She was a member of the adult choir for many years; she loved to sing. She was a great witness for the Lord.

She is preceded in death by her husband Audie Alvis, son; Norman Flay Alvis, grandson; Logan, brothers; Orville, Max, Rufus and Esque, sisters; Alma, Elva, Ruth, Chloe and Lorene.

She is survived by sons; Paul (Lena) Alvis, Timothy (Gleeda) Alvis, daughters; Sarah (John) Mikolaitis and Jane Alvis, eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to FBC of Glencoe, building fund.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons; Michael Alvis, John Mikolaitis, Jake Mikolaitis, Jonathan Alvis, Joshua Alvis and her great-grandson Daniel Puckett.
