Funeral services will be 1 pm, Thursday, at Crestwood Chapel, for Mrs. Fannie "Ruth" Johnson, age 86, of Tampa Florida, formerly Gadsden, who went to her heavenly home, on March 29, 2021, with her family by her side  Her son Reverend Shawn Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Rainbow Memorial Gardens.

She was of The Church of God faith. Her love for her family was enormous. She loved going to Gatlinburg where many memories were made, with her family.

She is preceded in death by her precious mother Illa Chapman, step father, Whitt Chapman, father Ishell Tidwell and brother H.F. Tidwell.

She is survived by her devoted husband Larry G. Johnson, sons; Dr. Alan (Lisa) Walch, Reverend Shawn(Michele) Johnson, daughter Debra Dildy,9 grandchildren 3 great grandchildren ,3 great-great grandchildren and sister in law Betty Tidwell.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Thursday, from 12 pm, until the time of service.
