Evelyn Pauline
Williamson
April 24, 1940 – November 27, 2025
Pauline, (affectionately known as Polly in her younger years) was born in Gadsden, Alabama to her parents, Paul and Evelyn Tarvin. After graduating from Gadsden High in 1958 she went on to work in Accounts Receivable for Flower's Bakery where she eventually retired. She married her husband Charles E. Williamson in 1969. She then had their daughter Tara Williamson in 1970. Pauline was an active person who enjoyed bowling, softball, tennis, fishing and gardening. She is fondly remembered by her grandchildren as loving, encouraging and creative, always humming a song, usually one sung by her favorite, Ella Fitzgerald. She is most especially remembered by her daughter, Tara, who she spent the last years of her life with being cared for.
Survived: She is survived by her daughter, Tara (Perry) Hodge, her grandchildren Katie Mae Campbell, Joshua (Hannah) Campbell, Charlie Hodge, and her great-granddaughter, Evelyn Probus.
Preceded: She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Williamson, her mother Evelyn McCarver Tarvin, her father Paul Tarvin, and her brother, Dr. William L. Tarvin.
