Funeral will be 11 am Friday at Crestwood Chapel for Mrs. Evelynn Wilson Age 74 of Southside who died Monday. Brother Roger Butler will officiate. Burial will be in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.
Mrs. Wilson was a hard working woman doing jobs such as hanging drywall and working as a miner. She will be remembered as a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all and will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband Robert K. Wilson, son Leland K. Wilson, grandson Nicky Ritchey,parents Ira and Ruby Kelley, brothers Charles and Johnny Kelley and sister Imojean Smith.
She is survived by children Brenda Taylor, Sylvia (Kenny) McKinley, Shawna Wilson, Danny Sims, Kenny Wilson ,5 brothers and sisters ,14 grandchildren 24 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Ronald McKinley, Travis Mckinley, Robert Bennett, Phillip Moore, Danny Highfill and Lonny Morse.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6 until 8 pm.
