Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2009, at Crestwood Funeral Home for Evelyn Sue Coker, 100, who died Tuesday, October 6, 2009. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Rev. Roger Thompson and Rev. Elton Beasley will be officiating. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.
Miss Coker was preceded in death by her parents, Henry B. and Willie Coker; siblings; H. Ben (Thelma) Coker, Jr., Edith (Gus) Abney.
She is survived by nieces Diannah Mulvaney, Christian Ray, Cindy Coker; nephews; Charles Abney, H. Ben Coker, III, Tommy Coker; cousin; Richard M. Phillips.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to first Methodist Church, of which she was a member, or to your favorite charity.
