Funeral service will be at 11 am Thursday at Crestwood Chapel for Mrs. Eva M. Berry age 90 of Gadsden who died Tuesday November 8th, 2016. Reverend Roger Graham and Bro. Lauil Thompson will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge of the service.
Eva was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church where she served as WMU Director, Sunday School teacher and GA leader. She had a heart for missions. She and Lamar loved working for many years on the church grounds committee as well as numerous other committees.
Eva was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years Lamar Berry, parents John and Pauline Johnson, sisters Bea Couch and Margaret Woodham, brothers Robert, Bill and Sammy Johnson and her grandson Jody Randall Berry.
She is survived by her son Randy (Beverly) Berry, grandchildren Chris (April) Berry, Heather (Nate) Clough, and Amy (Kyle) Richey, great-grandsons Sam Berry, Will and Luke Clough. Brother and sister-in-law Chet (Kathy) Berry and sister-in-law Elaine Grimes and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Bellevue Baptist Church or Southside Baptist Homebound Ministry.
Pallbearers will be Chris Berry, Nate Clough, Kyle Richey, Larry Couch, Richard Couch and Mike Couch.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Members of Adult IV department of Bellevue Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 9 am until the time of service.
