Funeral will be 1 pm Saturday at Fellowship Baptist Church for Mr. Eric Branch age 51 of Gadsden who died Monday September 21st. Pastor Scotty Wright will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge of services.
Mr. Branch was a Graduate of Etowah high class of 1982 and received his degree in Human Services at Gadsden State . He worked at Ft. McClellan for over 14 years, and was owner of Family Tree Group Home. He was a lifelong Christian and was influenced by Pastor Scotty Wright, Pastor John James, Pastor William McKinney and Pastor Lane Sitz.
He is preceded in death by Mother Estelle Isom, grandmother Thelma Branch, grandfather James Branch and father John Bennett.
He is survived by Sonya Branch and Sons Isaiah Branch, DeJuan Potter and wife Frances) Potter granddaughters Niliyah Potter and Jazzy Potter several brothers and sisters and a large extended family as well as special friends Craig Dudley, Charles Jones and all the deacons of Fellowship Baptist Church, Family Tree employees ,Smeltzer Center, Darryl Wallace and Mike Crumpler.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Special thanks to All the Drs. and staff of Riverview Regional and U.A.B. Physicians Choice Dialysis and all the employees of Family Tree Group Home who were there when we needed them.
The family will receive friends at the church Saturday from 12 noon until the time of service.
