Era Lou Sheffield, age 90, of Collinsville, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 28, 2026.

Funeral services will be held at Crestwood Funeral Home on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Jeff Graves will officiate the service.

Era was a lifelong resident of Lookout Mountain and was beloved by everyone who had the privilege of crossing her path. She will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and the love she shared with her family, friends, and community.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Lamar Sheffield

Survived by her children, Philip Sheffield, Stan Sheffield, and Cindy Bailey; her grandchildren, Jennifer Ridgeway, Lauren Bailey, and Andrew Bailey; and her great-grandchildren, Amelia Ridgeway and Austin Ridgeway.
