Funeral services will be at 1PM Thursday at Crestwood Chapel for Emma Carlean Bolding Kennedy age 83 of Columbus Mississippi formerly of Gadsden who passed away Sunday August 21,2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital -Golden Triangle, Columbus Mississippi. Reverend Al Hamm will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge of services.
Mrs. Kennedy was born to the late Carl and Emma Hallmark Bolding. She was a member of Forrest Avenue Cumberland Presbyterian Church ,Gadsden, and was currently attending Victory Freewill Baptist Church, Columbus Mississippi. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Arlen R. Kennedy; sister, Maxine Bolding Lyles and her husband Bennie and nephew Erik Lyles.
She is survived by her daughter ,Mitzi Kennedy Colley and her husband Butch; nephew Patrick Lyles and his wife Kelley; great nephew ,Zachary Lyles; special friend Lee Marshall Pruett.
Mrs. Kennedy's family would like to thank the 3rd floor, TCU and CCU nurses and staff at Baptist Memorial Hospital and Windsor Rehab, Columbus Mississippi.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 11 am until the time of service.
