Elouise McPherson LeCroy, age 89, died September 29, 2010 in Savanna, Georgia. She was a life long resident of Alabama City and Gadsden until failing health required her to move to Savannah two and one-half years ago.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lula Belle Riley McPherson Smith and John Hampton McPherson; her husband of 71 years, Dewey Troy LeCroy; her sisters Elizabeth McPherson Conner and Edith McPherson Wilson Gash; and her daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and Charlie Phillips.
She is survived by her son Dewey Paul LeCroy (Mary Ellen) of Marietta, GA.; two daughters Sharon LeCroy Nichols (David) of Savannah, GA and Kimberly LeCroy Inman (Jeff) of Fayetteville, GA; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; sister Mary McPherson Franklin of Atwood, GS; and a number of nieces and nephews. She left behind many friends and dear loved ones.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Crestwood Funeral Home at 11:00 am with visitation at 10:00 AM. Matthew Crowe, Minister of Fairview Road Church of Christ will officiate. Interment will follow at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct services.
