Funeral services will be 2 pm Saturday at College Heights Baptist Church, for Mrs. Elizabeth "Libby" Smith,age 84, of Gadsden, who died Monday February 13, 2023. Reverend Jay Stewart and Steven Dial will officiate . Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery.

Libby will be remembered as a christian first,she loved her church and her church family at College Heights Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend to all and will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Teddy Ray Smith. She is survived by daughter Rhoda (Tony) Simmons, son Todd (Teri) Smith, grandchildren ,Carly (Ernie) Kuyper, Connor Simmons, Tori Smith, Hayden Smith sister-in-law, Sybil Stewart and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to College Heights Baptist Church in her honor.

The family will receive friends at College Heights Baptist Church Saturday from 1 pm until the time of service.
