Funeral will be 12 noon Saturday November 29, 2014 at Crestwood Chapel for Mrs. Elizabeth Marshall age 84 of Gadsden who died Tuesday November 25, 2014. Rev. Daniel Barkley will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.
Elizabeth was a lifelong member of East Gadsden Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She loved traveling and has been overseas. At home she enjoyed TV, but was an avid book reader. She was a loving wife mother, grandmother ,great grandmother and friend to all and will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband George C. Marshall, Jr., sister Sarah Phillips, Brother William "Bill" Phillips and her parents William and Lillie Phillips.
She is survived by son James (Eileen) Marshall; daughter Laura (Mark) Thompson; grandchildren, Christan , Elizabeth, Amanda, Callie and Nicholas. Great grandchildren, Mason, Sawyer and Brian; sisters Glenda, Doris and Inez; Brother in law Rodger and her two special friends Jackie Marshall and Betty Kirk, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday November 29, 2014 at 11am until time of service.
