Elizabeth Anderson Beacham, 78, a lifelong Resident of Etowah County, went to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ on Friday, September 16, 2016. Her funeral will be Monday at 11 A.M. at Crestwood Funeral Home with Rev. Jerald Adams and Rev. Jeff Rowan officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, 7 until 9 P.M. at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Johnny Layton Beacham; parents, Eddie Lee Anderson and Rosa Lee Anderson. Elizabeth was born July 15, 1938 and grew up surrounded by, loving and singing gospel music and playing the piano. Elizabeth was a member for many years at Paden Baptist Church. She retired from Baptist Memorial Hospital after 34 years of service in the Pediatric Department. She is survived by her son, Johnny Beacham (Hope), daughter; Theresa Beacham Dodd; grandchildren, Lee Beacham (Vallie Petta), Michaela Dodd, Sam Potter (Shayna Rhodes), Great Grandchildren, Alexis Beacham, Jewel Layton, Brawlle Beacham, Nick Petta, and Natalie Petta; special friends, Mary Brogdan, Paulette Self, Cheryl Conklin and Jack Kelley.
Pallbearers will be Allen Sanders, David Sanders, Jamie Riddlespur, Sam Potter, Michael Fleck and Todd Barron.
Honorary pallbearers, are Nancy, Kelley, and Katie Turley and Austin Sanders.
