Elisa Speaks, of Gadsden, passed away on February 23, 2025. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Elisa will be remembered as a free spirit. She did things her way, but she loved everyone and always greeted you with a big hug. She put others before herself and shared her love with many. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ross Speaks; grandparents, Arlene and Everett Speaks, and Roy and Audrey Cothran.
She is survived by her sons, Laughton Howard; Alec Martin; grandchildren, Leighton Howard and Jade Martin; Sonny Martin; mother, Susan (J.K.) Barrineau; brothers Josh (Rachel) Dunn; sister, Jennifer Thomas; and nieces and nephews, Erin Scott, Kristin Thomas, Tessa Dunn, nephew Owen Dunn, and Millie Dunn.
