Funeral services will be 1 pm Monday, August 30, 2021, at Crestwood Chapel for Ms. Elaine "Nana" Walker, age 82, of Southside, who died Wednesday August 25. Chaplain Marlon Ellington will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery.

Elaine will be remembered for her vitality and love of life, loved ice skating in her younger days and would have continued if ice was available here, loved working in her yard and wasn't slowed by age, would tackle slides and rides with grandchildren anytime. Loved traveling as well and enjoyed the beach. She was a loving mother grandmother and friend and will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by husband Ray Walker, grandson Chad Walker and several siblings.

She is survived by children Mike(Sandra) Walker, Kristi(Frank)Shew, and Brandi(Jamarcus) Hughley, grandchildren Kyle Walker and Franky Shew, brother Harold Lick, sister Beverly(Tom) Garcia her companion and beloved pet Ralphie and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 12 pm until the time of service.
