Graveside services will be Thursday 2 pm at Crestwood Cemetery for Mr. Edward Allen age 84 of Glencoe who died Monday. Josh Dodd will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge of services.
Mr. Allen was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle, a Veteran of The United States Navy, a longtime member and deacon at Louis Street Baptist Church, and a retiree of Gulf States Steel.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife Betty Allen and son Steven Allen and great grandson Braelyn Gazaway.
He is survived by son Eddie(Valerie) Allen, daughter Carla Miles, grandsons Brandon Allen ,Joseph Allen, granddaughters Racheal (Jeremy) Jarrells, Stephanie Allen ,Brittney(Stephen) Chandler, Hannah Miles, great grandchildren Trenton and Ella Dooley, Austin, Hannah, and Ava Jarrells, Bryce Whitaker, Braylee Gazaway, Brody and Brogan Chandler, brother Roy Allen, sisters Margie Williams, Gail Allen and Sue Wiggins.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Louis Street Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Allen, Drew Owens, Trenton Dooley, Kenneth McClellan, Stephen Chandler and Jeremy Jarrells.
Honorary pallbearers are Bryce Whitaker and Brody and Brogan Chandler.
