Funeral was at 2pm Thursday, March 24, at Crestwood Chapel for Edna Johnson, age 77, Southside, who died Tuesday March 22, 2011. Brothers Johnny Jones and Dave Roberts will officiate. Burial will be in Kyuka Cemetery. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home directed services.
Mrs. Johnson was a hard working woman who lived for her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be missed by all.
She is preceded in death by her husband John Johnson, son Johnny Johnson, parents Lonnie and Annie Whitt, and brother Lonnie Whitt, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter Donna (Frankie) Nesmith; son Allen (Lisa) Johnson; grandchildren Tra, Katie, Josi, Justis, Brittany and Lauren; great grandchildren Maliyah, Lucas, Cailyn, Colin, and Colton; brothers and sisters Nellie Scroggs, Ernest Whitt, Lola Alexander, Bobby (Sherry) Whitt, Ray (Darlene) Whitt, Mable (Jack) Worley, Elsie (Bob) Tolton, Delcie (Henry) Love, Jane (Thomas Ray) Martin and Michael (Linda) Summerville.
Pallbearers were family and friends.
