Funeral services will be 1 pm Friday at First Church Rainbow City for Mrs. Edith"Edie" Cline age 77 of Rainbow City, who died Tuesday. Pastor Jeff Underwood will officiate. Burial will be in Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge of services.
Edith was born in Alabama City to Bill and Ruth Tant. She attended Emma Sansom and graduated from Etowah High School class of 1958.Edie was an LPN and later became an RN and worked at Coosa Valley Health Care, String fellow Memorial ,Mountain View and Gadsden Regional Medical Center from which she retired after many years of service.
She is preceded in death by her daughter Cindy Cline, parents Bill and Ruth Tant, 2 brothers and 4 sisters.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years Jerry Cline, daughter Chantelle Cline and grandson Payton Hill, sister Bonnie Christian and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
