Edgar Pettit Jr., age 93, passed away on April 28th, 2024.  Visitation will be at Crestwood Funeral Home on Thursday, May 2nd, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. with a graveside service following at Crestwood Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.  Reverend Michael Yopp will officiater.


Edgar will be remembered as a Christian, hardworking, and most of all loving family man. He lived for his wife, daughters and grandchildren. He could be serious but also had a sense of humor. He was loved immensely and will be greatly missed.

Preceded in death by his parents Edgar Sr. and Mary Pettit; sister Evangeline and brother Paul

Survived by his wife of 67 years Violet Pettit; daughters Elaine (Steven) Arnold, Jane Scholl; grandchildren Erica (Jimmy) Brandt, Adam (Alicja) Arnold, Andrew Arnold; great grandchildren Sam, Kellie Brandt

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Heart Association  or any charity of your choice.
