Funeral services for Dorise Cornutt Bryant, 91, of Hokes Bluff, who passed away on May 4, 2022, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 9, 2022 at Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Anthony Copeland officiating.  The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.  Mrs. Bryant was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church of Hokes Bluff for 60 years.  She retired as Office Manager of Morgan Electric Supply after 46 years of service.  Mrs. Bryant was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She will be missed by many.

Mrs. Bryant is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, James Dewitt Bryant, Sr.; father, Jim Cornutt; mother, Vera Turner Cornutt; brothers, Ira Cornutt and James Cornutt; sisters, Nell Cornutt, Linda Stein, Bobbie Swicegood, Bonnie Goss Abel; and half-brother, Crowley Turner.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons James ("Beaux") Dewitt Bryant, Jr. (Beverly) and Steven Bryant (Julie); and her grandson, Alexander Bryant, who was her pride and joy.  Pallbearers will be Alexander Bryant, Steve Fleming, Johnny Goss, Cody Matthews, Ken Means, and Brad Swicegood. Honorary pallbearers, Larry Sandlin, Gary Smith, and Benny West.
