Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday February 9, 2019, at Crestwood Funeral Home for Donald Alan Tucker (Inky) age 68 who went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 1, 2019. Pastor Gary Williams will officiate. Burial at Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.

Don grew up in the Mill Village of Alabama City. He is a 1969 graduate of Emma Sansom High School. He was married to his childhood sweetheart Paula Ratliff for 44 years. Paula predeceased Don on February 9, 2016. Don was the baby brother of six siblings, five of whom predeceased him along with his parents, Acton and Pearl Tucker. Don was a man of many skills and talents including engineering, drafting and design. He received his formal training in California in the late 1980s and returned home and started his own business INKCO DRAFTING SVCS.

He was a talented musician and singer. His Hammond B3 Organ was his pride and Joy. In the 1970s, he played with many local bands, including The Keysburg Road Band. He will be remembered for his big heart and giving spirit. He was a loving husband, brother, uncle and friend and will be missed by all who loved him including his beloved Weimaraner, Pete.

He is survived by his brother Dennis M. (Mike) Tucker, six nieces, six nephews, and a large extended family from his childhood on. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Gideons. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12 until 2 at Crestwood Funeral Home
