Funeral services for Don Kidd, age 80 of Southside, AL, will be Friday, February 26, 2021, 2:00 PM at Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Kidd officiating. Burial will follow in the Crestwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 12:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.

Don was a loyal husband, father, grandfather and friend. He enjoyed flying Radio Control Airplanes, camping with his family, and spending time with his high school buddies. He was retired from Gulf State Steel. He enjoyed playing the Emma Sansom Rebel Band .

He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Pat Kidd, his parents, Dorman and Opal Kidd, brother, Larry Kidd and chosen family member Dustin Sparks.

Survivors include his special lady, Shirley Rich; daughter, Kayla (Kenny) Coffman, son, Kevin (Kim) Kidd, son, Kasey (Wendy) Kidd; grandchildren; Brandon (Laura) Thrasher, Austin (Caroline) Kidd, Addison (Andrew) Kimberley, Ashley (Jake) Christenberry, Adam Kidd, Morgan Kidd, seven great grandchildren, and special family, Jerry (Donna) Sparks and children.

Pallbearers will be Steven Sparks, Jerry Sparks, Haden Sparks, Hunter Sparks, Keith Kidd and Jason Kidd.
