Funeral services will be at 11 AM Monday, March 9, 2009 at Crestwood Memorial Chapel for Mrs. Dola Mae Naylor, age 93, of Glencoe, who died on Friday, March 6, 2009. Rev. Donnie Patterson will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct.
Mrs. Naylor was born August 16, 1915 in Dekalb County but resided most of her life in Etowah County. She was a Christian and a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother who will be greatly missed. She was loved by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband: H. B. Naylor and grandson: Joey Butler.
She is survived by her daughters: Ruth Greer, Boaz, Margaret (Jerry) Butler, Hokes Bluff and Deborah (Johnny) Lay, Glencoe; son: James (Julia) Naylor, Gadsden; grandchildren: Robin Yother, Melody Greer, Marty (Carrie) Greer, Connie (Buddy) Parker, Scott (Jennie) Naylor, Jamie (Steve) Jones, Misti (Scott) Mims and Jonna (Daniel) Thacker; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
Family request no flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
Pallbearers will be Marty Greer, Scott Naylor, Jacob Butler, Jeremy Yother, Steve Jones and Scott Mims.
