Dennis “Dean” Smith, age 66, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family, May 5th. A private graveside service was held at Crestwood Cemetery, with Daniel Smith officiating.

He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Andrew Smith, his mother Florella Smith and his brother Steve Smith.

He is survived by his wife Cecelia “Jane” Smith, daughters Lauren (Joe) Ward and Jennifer Cornutt, stepdaughters Donna (Kyle) Castille and Kimberly (Jacob) Hudson, father Roy E. Smith, brothers Greg and Terry (Janna) Smith, sister Paula (Alan) Bowman, grandchildren Andrew Pounds, Zoey, Cooper, Olivia, and Ellis Cornutt, Gylan, Zane and Olivia (Des Singleton) Tucker, and Zoe (Eli) Tilton, Cody (Mary Ann), Gavin (Emma) and Ethan (Marly) Burrage.
