Funeral service will be at 2pm Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Crestwood Chapel for Deborah Ann Trimm Lipscomb, age 68, of Gadsden, who passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from noon until 2pm. Rev. Randal Trimm will officiate and Austin Wilbourn will deliver an eulogy. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.  Crestwood Funeral Home will direct services.

Deborah was a lifetime resident of Etowah County. She was a graduate of Etowah high School, Class of 1972. She was a member of the Echota Cherokee Tribe of Alabama and was very proud of her Native American Heritage. She loved nature, fishing, and her flowers. She was a dedicated homemaker that loved her family and made her friends feel like family.

She is preceded in death by her grandson Taylor Self; parents, Alfred and Peggy Trimm, sisters Teresa Farris and Linda Hall, and brother Anthony Trimm.

Deborah is survived by her husband of 42 years Jerry Lipscomb; daughter Valerie Wilbourn (Ken "Weasel" McClellan); stepdaughter Teresa Walker; grandchildren Brianna Wilbourn, Austin Wilbourn, Brandon O'Dell, and Cody O'Dell; great grandchild Jenson O'Dell; sister Annette Trimm Raines; brother Stanley (Helen) Trimm; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many dear friends.

Pallbearers will be Ken McClellan, Bobby Sholar, Chris Sholar, Nathan Trimm, Jake Trimm, and Blake Patterson.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the Lookout Mountain Fire Department.
