Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Crestwood Funeral Chapel for Deatrice Bradley Croft, 84, Flowery Branch, GA., formerly of Hokes Bluff, who died Monday August 4, 2008. The rev. Harvey Beck and Rev. John Simmons will officiate.
Mrs. Croft was a loyal member of the First United Methodist Church of Hokes Bluff where she served the Lord in many capacities. One of her joys was quilting with the "Quilting Squares" at the church.
She was retired from the Hokes Bluff Water Board and also worked as secretary at Hokes Bluff High School.
She was preceded in death by her husband, R.C. Croft, Jr.; parents; Earl and Edith Bradley; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Roy Gazaway.
She is survived by her son, Bobby (Sally) Croft, Glencoe; daughters, Ann (Kelly) Bagley, Whiting, KS; Kay (Jeffery) Conway, flowery Branch, GA; grandchildren, Alyson (Jeremy) Godfrey, Hokes Bluff; Tyler (Danya) Croft, Margaret, AL; Jill (Major Ken) Glidewell, Germany; Lori (Kyle) Williams, Whiting, KS; Sergeant Kyle (JoLynn) Bagley, Altus, OK; Zac (Billie) Bagley, Austin, TX; Kacie Conway, Anna Conway, flowery Branch, GA; Bradley (Ashley) Conway, Gainesville, GA; 11 great-grandchildren; special nieces, Connie Starling and Peggy Morris; sister-in-laws, Jeanette Fleming and Emma "Boots" Lee.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Bagley, Zac Bagley, Bradley Conway, Tyler Croft, Sherrill Morris, Gerald Starling and Chip Reeves.
